This Christmas and New Year season is without snow in Latvia (damn global warming!), so decorations are the only way to try to make a celebration atmosphere in visual sense. Small Dobele town has done a pretty good job with this. The first photo is from Dobele central square (historical market square) and the second one - a "paparazzi" view of the town's main Christmas tree through a narrow gap of older apartment houses near by the square.
